Adira Foundation — work at Adira previews what I can do for you.
How I successfully built a health nonprofit — a gallery summary in images !
It all begins with a passionate idea. Maybe you want to launch something ambitious. How you communicate it can make all the difference.
On a personal note: Adira Foundation was one of the most meaningful things I've ever built. Inspired by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB & Malaria, I founded Adira Foundation — a U.S. national, public foundation with a vision for a one-day Global Fund to Fight ALS, Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias; Huntington's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, and Parkinson's Disease. A primary caregiver to a loved one with Alzheimer’s, I know these diseases are monstrous and their prevalence is growing.
We debuted in April of 2020 — just as the world was shutting down due to COVID. Another casualty of that era, Adira closed shop after three years. We got the money out the door and helped a lot of people.
We started with listening, then building programs rooted in what mattered most to patients and caregivers, designed from their point of view (POV). We raised and disbursing $ millions, chiefly in grants to 26 non-profits for inventive collaborative programs. The work goes on.
This gallery shows not only what I can do for you but how — with vision, creativity, and passion to build community & partnerships. Contact me for how to get more info
